SEO may seem like a set formula one size fits all type of thing, but the reality is that SEO has to be flexible and tailored to fit each site. You cannot actually make sites fit a particular SEO strategy and expect it to work out well for you over the long haul because should the rules the SERPs operate under change at all, you’re out of luck. Most of us take a mechanical approach to SEO and it just doesn’t work as well as it should.
Here is what mechanical SEO will do. Mechanical SEO will try to put some tags on your page and get a few links. maybe they are good and maybe they are not. If you want to be successful in a highly competitive environment, you need to be all the more vigorous with your online optimization efforts. Never think that SEO is just about adding meta keywords and meta description tags. If that is where your SEO starts and ends, you are in trouble.
There are several other aspects that will be decided by your specific niche market and its current trend. Only experienced SEO companies will be able to identify such strategies to promote your website online. SEO should take on a human approach and it also involves a lot of trial and error efforts that are specific to your niche.
This mechanical approach will not help us get the desired results we are aiming for. You may happen to get some decent results with mechanical SEO, but the reality is it would be just coincidental. Mechanical SEO does not take into consideration the prevailing market condition which is why it always falls short of target.
Here’s a scenario. If you don’t know the market conditions are, you will be relying on your mechanical optimization efforts which will not bring you the desired traffic. This is about the equivalent of spitting in the wind. All the efforts you take here will be going in vain and so will be the money you spend. No one likes wasting time or money, so why do something you know will result in both?
Look at it this way: Imagine spending hundreds of dollars every month on your SEO only to realize after several months that you have been driving in the opposite direction of what the market has been dictating you should. That is often what mechanical SEO is. There is no use in buying SEO packages that are superficial. SEO is not magic, and it is not sheer luck. If you want your website SEO to work, then you better dig down to the facts of your niche market and sit with your SEO team and figure out how to properly take advantage of that information.
