Lot of .TXT files that are being uploaded come with syntax errors. For the disavow link tool to work correctly, the right syntax has to be followed.

Yet another common mistake that is found in the use of link disavow tool is the inclusion of explanations and reasons in the TXT file. If you want to give any explanations or requests to make send another file with reconsideration request. Your TXT files should contain only the list of links or domain names that have to be disavowed.

The fifth common mistake that is found in the use of disavow tools is errors pertaining to comment tags and comment out tags. People do not use uncomment tags correctly which results in syntax errors. If you want to comment in your TXT file then remember to uncomment out or else it is best not to comment in the TXT file.
